SPI’s Annual Holiday Week: A Festive Recap

At Schumann Printers (SPI), we believe the holidays are about creating moments of joy, fostering camaraderie, and celebrating the incredible talents of our team. This year’s Holiday Week was packed with excitement, laughter, and plenty of holiday spirit. In case you missed it, here’s a day-by-day recap of the festivities:

Day 1: The Great SPI Bake-Off

We kicked off the week with a brand-new event: the SPI Bake-Off! Team members brought their A-game to compete in two scrumptious categories: cookies and other desserts. The aroma of freshly baked treats filled the air as our judges took on the enviable task of tasting and scoring the entries. The creativity and culinary skills on display made for an unforgettable—and delicious—start to Holiday Week.

Day 2: Secret Santa and Games Galore

The holiday magic continued with our Company-wide Secret Santa Party! Thoughtful gifts were exchanged, sparking laughter and surprise across the room. To keep the fun going, everyone joined in an exhilarating game of Heads & Tails, bringing smiles and excitement to the day. It was a perfect way to connect and share the spirit of giving.

Day 3: Ornament Decorating, Children’s Coloring Contest, & Bingo

Day 3 was all about artistry and imagination! Our Ornament Decorating Competition revealed the hidden talents of SPI’s creative minds. Judged categories included Most Festive, Most Creative, and Most Funny, making for a colorful and delightful display of holiday cheer.

We also celebrated the winners of our Holiday Children’s Coloring Contest. The creativity and effort put into the entries were truly inspiring, and our panel of judges had a tough time selecting the best. It was heartwarming to see the next generation of artists contributing to the holiday spirit.

To keep the fun going, we played a lively game of Bingo over the PA system.

Day 4: Potluck and Ugly Sweaters

The smells of home-cooked goodness filled the air on Potluck Day, as crockpots and casserole dishes lined the tables with everyone’s favorite recipes. The day was made even more entertaining with our Ugly Sweater Contest, where team members showcased their most outrageous and spirited holiday attire. From jingling bells to glittery reindeer, the competition was fierce, and the laughter was nonstop.

Day 5: Cozy Comfort

We wrapped up the week with a cozy and sweet note: Hot Chocolate and Cookie Day in the breakrooms. The rich aroma of cocoa and the crunch of festive cookies brought a comforting end to an incredible week. It was a simple yet perfect way to close out our celebration of the season.
